Dr. Francis has been on SVMIC’s Board since 1997 and was elected Chair in 2015. He accepted these positions because of a deep belief that doctors need the protection, advocacy, and support that only SVMIC can provide. He credits his decision to pursue medical school to his desire to help sick people get well. He’s also a fourth-generation Memphis surgeon.
Away from work, he spends time outdoors with his family. He likes to fish, hunt, hike, walk, and attend college football games. He also loves to watch the Memphis Grizzlies and the St. Louis Cardinals.
What one specific value of SVMIC speaks to you the most?
